Ken cuccinelli is the current attorney general who sued the federal government over the Affordable Care act and other measures. The two competing now for the job are both in the state senate, democrat mark hearing and republican mark obenshane who has more votes, but that could change because county electoral boards across the state are going over the count making sure its right. After a grueling Election Night its been a long day of counting vote after vote. And checking each voter. Vote canvassing is a mandatory ritual. On wednesday the Supreme Court heard arguments whether the towns prayers are constitutional. I dont think that were asking that there not be prayer. I think that were asking for it to be inclusive. Reporter susan galloway, a resident who is jewish and Linda Stevens who is an atheist say the premeeting prayers violate their rights because they emphasize christian beliefs. When youre told by a pastor to stand up and bow your head and pray to jesus and you dont do that, it can be intimidating if you object.
