Just this morning were getting some numbers from state division of elections. And so far 6. 51 million register the voters here in florida have either voted early or voted by mail. Active registered voters across the state. So early voting and voting by mail, those two options have been available and they are certainly options that people are taking advantage of during this election cycle. Were going to stay out here and certainly keep you posted throughout the day as we we gather any new information about 49 percent of people voted early in hillsborough county. So its unclear exactly how many are going to come out today. State and local governments shall retain this abilities to protect Consumer Rights and Public Health safety and welfare. And to insure that consumers who solar are not required to subsidize cost of back up power and electricity in electric grid access to those who do. It sounds good. The ads make it sound so wonderful vote yes for sun but what they dont tell you that is bacteriaed backed by Utility Companies pep they spend more than 25 million it would give Utility Companies more control over your solar at your own home. Proponents say way to protect consumers and make it safer for people who want to install solar panels. Critics say the cost of g quickly in Utility Companies know this. And eventually more and more people will begin to use it. Thp amendment would allow utilities to charge fees on anyone who has solar making it more expensive. Even the florida profession will Firefighters Union has pulled their endorsement late last week. So vote yes if you want Utah Companies to have more control over solar vote vote no if you want more personal control over electric costs. Amendment 2 isnt as controversial regarding its if you remember it failed a couple of years ago when it was on the ballot. But only by a few percentage points. This year though, polling shows it will likely pass. Even though Law Enforcement officials people like polk county Sheriff Grady Judd are against it saying its just too vague and will lead to even more problems. But other people say its needed for people with chronic pain or terminal illness the this amendment straightforward vote yes if you want to legalize medical marijuana and vote no if you dont.
