Police found a possible drug lab located at a house in collindale and dave kinchen is at the scene right thousand, dave. Reporter were on the 1200 block of macdade boulevard. State Police Chemist appears to have just arrived at this house here to check into these chemicals found in what Police Sources are calling a suspect drug lab. Collindale police are here with the Delaware County criminal Investigation Division this house, on the 1200 block of macdade is a duplex. Residents upstairs, two were evacuated. Three living in the first floor were detain including a man who was spotted by a worker. We will pan down and show you this cvs here because there is a connection to all of this. Police say there was an officer buying a car for his wife in the cvs when he was tipped off by a worker to someone acting suspiciously in that store with the tray of products that they were either going to purchase or take out of that store and once that suspect had gotten wind of the cop taking a look at him were told that he ran for it and ran back to this house here on a radio report which was put out regarding this suspect seen going in the the back of the house here. That is when investigators got involved and state Police Chemist checking out chemicals inside the house. Im not the sure what was in the cart. I can only assume it was products to assist in making whatever he was making in the house, but yeah, clerk brought attention to the officer and we may have averted a major incident. Reporter big question though is what are these exact chemicals, police cannot say what specific type of drug lab this could be because they have to check these chemicals. The East Allegheny avenue a main drag through town, lots of cameras, lots of witnesses and this guy, killed last night, turned 30 yesterday and he shot and killed on his birthday right in front of his girlfriend and a lot of surveillance systems. New fortunately, in the 700 block of East Allegheny we found several businesses on both side of the street that to have private surveillance camera, police viewed these cameras and at least one of the businesses, did record the entire incident. So homicide detectives are on location processing the scene and they will get a copy of the recording. Reporter sadly homicide detective are processing lots of scenes like this one rosehill right past midnight yesterday when monday murders began. A 19 yearold man shot a half dozen times at point blank range.
