A friend patricia was among the mourners. He was such a good doctor. Leaving his family here to head back home and for him to fall down with a sickness, we are so sad that this happened. Reporter dr. Salia was a permanent u. S. Resident with a wife and two sons here in maryland. He spent much of his time in sierra leone performing life saving surgeries at the United Hospital where this video was shot before the ebola crisis. Much of our training entails spiritual and physical aspect of the training. By the time you finish your training, you are more or less [indiscernible] reporter age 4 4rbgs he got sick earlier this month but first tested negative for ebola. The test was wrong. By the time he arrived saturday at a nebraska hospital where other evacuees have been saved, he lasted only 36 hours. When he arrived to our hospital, he had no kidney function. He was working extremely hard to breathe. And we werent able to get him through this. Reporter friday his wife was so consumed with worry, she didnt want to appear on camera. [ sobbing ] im worried for him. So he knew what he was going in for. Reporter she said friday, his father knew the risks. This was a calling that he had, a calling from god that this is what he was meant to do. Reporter and here at this home today is how hes being remembered. He died as a hero. Reporter according to a family friend, his 12yearold anare in nebraska. His eldest son is here in maryland. Our thoughts are with his family. A 16yearold girl is the fifth person arrested in connection with the murder of brenden wilson. The 16yearold woodbridge senior high student was gunned down a week ago on some woods in a pathway behind the school. Prince William County police say five suspects lured him to the woods all under the guys of a drug deal guise of a drug deal with the plan to rob him of marijuana. The female suspect was in custody last week but police withheld that information until today. The female was in custody. She was in custody at some point last week i believe, wednesday or thursday of last week is when she was taken into custody. We kind of withheld that information until we got our remaining suspect in custody. He was our last link in this case. We wanted to get him in custody and get him interviewed and it was important for him not to know we had the female juvenile. The person that police are talking about turned himself in on friday. Police say all five suspects, three of them were juveniles were present during the Fatal Shooting of brenden wilson. Prince William County police are also on the hunt for some other people in a weekend double shooting on keating drive in woodbridge. A 15yearold was injured and 19yearold Christopher Weaver was killed. A disaeement led up to the shooting that may have been sparked over concern about a young girl. Coming up at 6 00, our peggy fox talks to woodbridge residents concerned about these deadly shootings. Also in woodbridge, a 19 yearldz is being head without bond accused of stabbing a 13 yearold at a birthday appear. Prince William County police say joseph deramus of dumfries was working as a Security Officer at the party located in the kramer estates last friday. Deramus identified himself as a Police Officer and police say he started turning guests away. A fight broke out and thats when police tell us deramus stabbed the 13yearold. Police are warning university of maryland students and others in the area to be extra cautious. Theyre searching for a man right now wanted for attacking and trying to abduct a female student yesterday. As Stephanie Ramirez explains, police are worried about the location of where this happened as well as the time of day. Reporter it was around 6 00 in the morning sunday when police say a female university of maryland student getting out of her parked car was attacked from behind. The man grabbing her around the neck with a knife and telling the student they was going with him. Thankfully that student got away but this armed attack at an odd hour has some female students especially on edge as police step up security trying to find this suspect. Most students [indiscernible] usually it happens like thursday through saturday you suspect that. I guess that part is kind of surprising. And scary, really. There have been some attacks that happened in broad daylight. I guess people are more bold or they have figured out certain areas where people are just naive. Reporter several students say theyre used to getting alerts about incidents around campus but most agreed today. This is definitely the worst. I live close to where it happened. Reporter Prince Georges County police say the attempted abduction happened near the 4400 block of hartwick road in college park. Its off campus but not too far from the university not to mention the area around the 4400 block of hartwick road is not a desolate area at all. Theres off Campus Housing and businesses like applebees and fedex. There are still plenty of people in the area. There may not be as much security. County police did not have a description of the suspect which is why all departments need students and staff to be extra cautious. If they notice any suspicious activity or a person behaving in a suspicious manner to call police right away. A Suitland High School student is hospitalized after receiving quite a beating at the school last friday. Were told 16yearold dray quan yates is doing better but still recovering. Hope he gets better. Everybody pray for him. Students say fights like the one that injured yates happen all the time.
