Police say it started just before midnight when an officer tried to pull over this white fourdoor sedan for running a red light off of georgetown pike on walker road. The vehicle didnt stop and kept on going. Turning on to rockmore court. A passenger jumped out and ran. The driver sped away, made a u turn in this quiet culdesac and drove back directly at the officer. Someone from inside the vehicle fired several shots and hit the cruiser at least two times. The officer wasnt hurt and tried to couldnt catch up. Anybody willing to shoot at a marked Police Officer is a danger to each and every member of our community.
