Sheriff kincaid said getting her back to alexandria was the only way to get her help. Is that in order for us to get her the help in order for us to get her the help she needed we were told she had to go back to alexandria because she did not have an attorney in fairfax county. That attorney has to petition the court in order to get her committed into a hospital. The death of a vibrant 16 yearold Bowie High School student during a spring break field trip is still a medical mystery tonight. Reporter im scott broom at Bowie High School where the focus of the day was helping kids cope with the sudden loss of a 16yearold classmate. Okon ntekim, beloved honor student and athlete, recipient of the kindness award at Bowie High School. Okon was on a junior rotc spring break field trip to parris island, south carolina, home of an iconic Marine Corps Training base. Toward the end of the trip home Prince Georges County rescuers were called to an oxon hill gas station for what they described an unknown medical emergency. Okon had complained of stomach pain during the trip officials said. He was unresponsive and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital early saturday. No protective Health Measures were taken at the school. Instead the focus was on remembering okon and coping with the loss. He would do his best at everything.
