Patrick Holcroft LVO OBE,Councillor Tony Miller planting trees at the site in Bewdley The county has committed to planting 150,000 trees across the county over the next five years. Tree planting has now begun near to the Blackstone Picnic Place site in Bewdley. The first 3,000 trees will be the start of a new woodland on the Bewdley site, with more to be added in 2021. Worcestershire County Council’s planting pledge will help enhance the local environment and create at least two new woodland areas in the county for residents and visitors to enjoy in years to come.
