Rochester police say the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. when a vehicle traveling south on 16th Avenue Southwest crossed 2nd Street Southwest and smashed into a light pole. The collision caused the SUV to flip over before coming to rest next to a row of pumps at the Holiday Convenience Store just west of St. Mary's hospital, The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to St. Marys with unknown injuries.
