Two Montgomery County teens killed in crash

Two Montgomery County teen-agers tragically lost their lives in a one-car accident Thursday night.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department said that they got word around 6:30 Thursday evening of a serious accident on County Road 200 West, south of County Road 200 South. The car, a Mitsubishi Lancer, had left the road and struck a tree.
Although police started rescue efforts as soon as they arrived, the driver, a 17-year-old Crawfordsville teen and a 15-year-old from Crawfordsville were pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release the identities.
The car had been going south on County Road 200 West when it went off the road and hit the tree.
