EAST UNION TWP. U.S. Route 30 East reopened just before 12:15 p.m. Friday after being closed for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene of two morning crashes. According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in the first crash, including two commercial vehicles, a pickup and a passenger car. Two vehicles were involved in a second collision in the same area. At least three people were transported to Wooster Community Hospital. The Wooster Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol was called to the scene along Route 30 east of Wooster before 7:30 a.m. The roadway was closed just before the Honeytown Road exit, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. A detour was posted to reroute drivers.
