UC Davis seeks input on campus safety reforms Virtual town halls are scheduled throughout winter quarter After the police killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and others last year, UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May convened a task force to examine public safety on campus and to make recommendations for potential reforms. The Task Force on Next Generation Reforms to Advance Campus Safety delivered its preliminary report to the chancellor in December and recently released it to the public. This quarter, the task force is seeking input from the campus community and the general public through a series of virtual town hall events, focus groups and a survey.
