Ching Athletics Complex, community donations have been pouring in. UH Manoa Athletic Director David Matlin said that since the announcement of the move, the university has received three large donations that amount to nearly $2 million in private donations. These donations cover the costs of roughly a third of the $6.1 million project to transform the current complex into a 10,000 seat stadium capable of hosting major college teams.
