The northern half of the country should stay dry. "On Thursday the south east corner will have showers but the rest of the country will remain dry. Colder air will start to push back into the north with an increasing risk of wintry showers around eastern coastal areas. "Friday could bring wintry showers to eastern England and Eastern Scotland but most places will be dry with sunny spells. Temperatures will be colder and Friday could have a hard frost."
