Renovations on the family-friendly venue in Sippy Downs started in September. Sunshine Coast Council approved the $1.8 million development application on behalf of Australia Venue Co in July. The former drive-through bottle shop which had been closed for 15 years was demolished and transformed into a sports bar with TAB facilities including 75 inch TVs. The gaming room has also been given a refresh. Venue manager Allyson Moir said population growth and a change in demographic is what prompted the change.
