Daniel Mark Wright, 47, entered a 7-Eleven in Lehi wearing a jacket with the words “Sheriff’s Deputy” on the back. He then proceeded to shoplift a donut, an act which did not go unnoticed by one of the store’s clerk. KUTV reports that Lehi police were notified of the man’s thievery, and were told that he had left the convenience store in a white Ford truck. Officers were then able to track down the truck’s location by observing surveillance video footage, eventually finding it in a motel parking lot.
