VACCINATION centres across West Yorkshire are continuing to operate despite the snow - but anyone who can't attend will be able to rebook their appointment. In a statement today Dr Phil Wood, Senior Responsible Officer for the West Yorkshire Vaccination Programme, said: “Vaccination centres in West Yorkshire continue to be open for business delivering vaccines to patients who have a booked appointment. “However, we are advising those people who have booked a COVID-19 vaccination today to only travel if they feel safe and confident in doing so. Their safety is very important to us and if there is any doubt, people should rearrange their appointment for another time. In particular, we are advising people not to travel to the centre at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield for their vaccination today because of particularly bad conditions in that area. Anyone with an appointment at John Smith’s today can rebook using the contact details provided on their booking letter.
