Vanderbilt University Medical Center has opened a 31,000-square-foot facility in Hendersonville that began construction just over a year ago. Vanderbilt Health Hendersonville on Anderson Lane North in the Indian Lake community is operating its walk-in clinic with plans to add other primary care and specialty services later this month, Vanderbilt officials said. “The issue for us is taking our brand of medicine directly to the community,” said Dr. John W. Brock III, senior vice president of Pediatric Surgical Services and Surgeon and Chief Emeritus of the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital. “We recognize Nashville is getting harder to get around. It’s important to take our brand of medicine to the patient. We recognize the growing nature of Hendersonville.”
