Victoria to hold Aboriginal truth and justice commission : v

From colonisation to the present day, a landmark Victorian commission will hear the stories of the state's Aboriginal people with the singular goal of telling the truth.
Launched yesterday by the state government and the First People's Assembly of Victoria, the inquiry will have royal commission-like powers, making Victoria the first state to establish a formal truth-telling forum.
The process will be led by experts and community members and be overseen by five commissioners.
