The Colorado driver's license is getting a makeover and you can have some say in what it is going to look like. The Colorado Department of Revenue started a contest back in August to help them design Colorado's new driver's license. They had more than 400 submissions of original art and photography for the contest and a committee narrowed it down to three. The three choices for the front of the license are Mt. Sneffels, located between Telluride and Ouray; Maroon Bells, between Aspen and Crested Butte; and Black Canyon, west of Montrose. So far, Mt. Sneffels is leading the voting by a wide margin with 48% of the vote, and Black Canyon is a distant third. Of the three options being offered, my vote would probably go to the shot of Black Canyon of the Gunnison, probably because it's the closest to Grand Junction.
