May 16, 2021 Charles Allen Favrot III, age 26,m of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Stalking and one count of Simple Assault. Bond was set at $3781.00. Favrot remains in the VPSO jail. May 17, 2021 James Robert Brown, age 20, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Theft from a building and one count of Simple Burglary. The arrest is the result of an investigation into the theft of audio speakers from a church. Bond was set at $ 18,500.00. A detainer for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole has been placed on Brown and he remains in the VPSO jail.
