Anyone aged 12 and over is now eligible to get the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine at Southcoast Health clinics across the region — and walk-ins are still welcome, the not-for-profit health system announced on May 13. The decision comes after the federal Food and Drug Administration authorized use of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccination for kids aged 12-15 earlier this week. Minors will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign a Massachusetts consent form at the clinic or bring a signed copy downloaded from mass.gov/lists/ma-consent-forms-for-people-under-18-years-of-age, Southcoast officials said.
