WATCH: 'It's not yours to take': Submerged car recovery


A swiftwater rescue team removed the vehicle about 2.35pm.
Police, Parks and Wildlife and three crews of Fire and Emergency Services including the swiftwater rescue team were called to the in Ooralea Waters scene about 11.20am.
The owner of the vehicle and Sarina resident Renee Mooney said the car had been missing since Friday morning.
Mrs Mooney said the theft was a violation of their home and privacy.“It’s not yours to take, people work hard for the things they have,” she said.
UPDATE 11:45AM: Emergency crews are waiting for Queensland Parks and Wildlife rangers to arrive in order to retrieve a car submerged in water south of Mackay.
