NSW shocked as 163 new cases are recorded overnight
NSW Health has recorded another record breaking day with 163 new cases reported overnight, 45 of which were in the community while infectious.

New South Wales has seen a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases recording 163 new to 8pm on a fourth consecutive record breaking day.
Of the new cases, 45 were in the community while infectious.
The concerning case tally followed 93,910 tests in the past 24 hours.
NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard confirmed of the new cases, 66 were household contacts and 25 were close contacts.
