The removal hearing of District Attorney Greg Newman is nearing completion with closing arguments starting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. 
Newman, who has served as the District Attorney for District 29 B since 2013 representing Henderson, Transylvania and Polk counties, faced a second day of testimony from alleged sexual assault survivors. But several witnesses also testified in support of his character.
