WAYNESBORO — A teenage boy is dead of a suspected overdose and a Waynesboro man has been charged in connection with his death, according to the Waynesboro Police Department. On March 29, authorities responded to a home on the city's west end following a report of a teenager overdosing, a press release said. The teen was taken to Augusta Health in Fishersville and later transferred to the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, where he was initially listed in critical condition. The unidentified teen died Saturday night. The press release said investigators with the Waynesboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of North Augusta Avenue. On Friday, arrest warrants were issued for Dylan Wright, 20, of Waynesboro.
