He was having drinks with an australian diplomat and said that the russians had damaging emails against hillary clinton. Well, a few months later when those emails were spilled into the public, the australian diplomat alerted the fbi and the paper reports that that is the link that caused federal authorities to begin a Counter Intelligence investigation close to the Trump Campaign. Now the white house has since tried to distance itself from papadopoulos referring to him as a low level player in a volunteer position. The president s outside personal lawyers are not commenting on this story and the white house special counsel ty cobb tells me that out of respect for the special counsel, robert mueller, he will not comment on this hoping that the inquiry and their cooperation with it will end expeditiously.
