He is live at the scene. Steven, what have you learned . Reporter so far weve been told the task force was out here this morning serving a search warrant about 6 30, and thats when the u. S. Marshal was shot here on mull berry street. Take a look at the scene. Weve got police all over from a couple different agencies here. Youll of course have mulberry street which is shut down. There are crime scene markers all over the street. You cant see that now that this police car just came in here and kiechb blocked our view. Also investigators, police going in and out of every home here on the block trying to talk to neighbors about this potential suspect. Again, a u. S. Marshal was killed and a York City Police officer also shot during this altercation. But his injuries, the york city detective rather, are considered to be nonlifethreatening. Harrisburg officer was also injured but expected to be okay. The names of the officers involved not released as of now, but we can tell you the public is not in any danger. That according to police. The suspect, according to mayor here in harrisburg, was critically injured when officers returned fire. Were still working to learn more about that suspect and what type of search warrant was served this morning. We expect to have more answers for you coming up later this evening. Weve seen lots of sunshine since its been up but the temperatures have not made much progress. Look closely you can see the birds are grounded its so cold. Sunshine is slowly warming temperatures up, but weve been battling the wind which has been steady out of the northwest at 14 Miles Per Hour thats cold air thats dumping into the area and making cold air feel colder. Now it feels like its in the teens in pottstown, allentown, 16 in wilmington, 17 there. Atlantic city feels like 17 right now. Temperature without the wind is now in the 20s after dipping down into the teens. Look at the sunshine. The Lehigh Valley, new jersey, suburbs and philadelphia too. We are on track to see temperatures climb above freezing but not a lot above freezing. Sunny, 33 degrees at 2 00 with the northwestly wind at 15 Miles Per Hour, and just after sunset 33 degrees in philadelphia. We will see the temperatures climb. In between those hours we hit 36 degrees in philadelphia, little bit cooler in the suburbs and just below freezing but still melting conditions with bright sunshine in the Lehigh Valley. These photos showed the home on rodney avenue just after the fire started at 4 00 this morning. It took firefighters about an hour and a half to get those flames under control. A Family Member tells us all nine people including children were able to make it out of the house. They went to a neighbors home to stay warm. All nine are in the hospital getting checked out but that Family Member says none of their injuries are serious. She also tells us several of the people were from out of town and they were visiting to attend a funeral. Investigators are going to try to figure out what caused that fire today. West philadelphia firefighters found three people trapped on top of this building. Early this morning they escaped to the roof after flames tore through the home. Firefighters rescued everyone and they should be okay. City inspectors are now on the scene investigating if the owner was violating city rental laws. A crash investigation and a sea of flashing Police Lights shut down a main travel hub in Camden County overnight. They cloesed all lanes just past the interchange in route 38. But those lanes are back open this morning. We are making calls to police about what happened here and if anyone was hurt. Happening now in Atlantic County doctor charged with murdering his wife is facing a judge. Dr. James kauffman is part of the group that has a detention hearing today to determine whether bail is an option forts suspect. Last week, prosecutors charged coffman, three other men, and one woman in a drugrelated murder plot. A worker for the kauffman easy found April Kauffman dead inside the couples linwood home back in 2012. She was a popular jersey shore radio host. In north philadelphia, two mass gunman stormed a corner store and shot a man eating a sandwich and then took off. When Police Arrived just after 7 00 last night they found the victim in an aisle, his body was riddled with bullets. Doctors pronounced the 22yearold dead after he was rushed to the hop. Police say the victim often went to the north sixth street store and they believe he was targeted. Shot while waiting at a bus stop, Philadelphia Police say someone rattled off more than a dozen bullets in northern libertity around 9 30 last night. One of them hit a woman in the hip. Investigators dont believe she was an intended target. Police tell us the only evidence they found at the scene near 7th and green streets were bullet casings. It looks like some of thats cleared away. Moving toward philadelphia or the airport youll be better go now. Also watching for the same kind of crews on the northern blftd. In norris town, a crash on swede street and also opt 42 cre way theres some pothole repairs. Thats coming away from philadelphia back towards south jersey from 290 phi to the Atlantic City expressway and that will be happening until theyre finished the. For a Third Straight day dozens of women are giving testimony about their sexual abuse by former gymnastics dr. Larry nasser in the say live look now from his sentencing hearing in lancing, michigan, where another victim is testifying about how the abuse she suffered has impacted the way shes raising her children. Nasser has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing underage girls that were under his care. The first to testify against nasser this morning was elite gymnast jamie dancer. She was a member of the bronze olympic team in 2000. She was the first to accuse him in 2016. And in the past half hour a statement was read in court by Mckayla Maroney. The judge says if they would like to tell their story, the court will make the time and she will order a sentence on monday. The california parents accused of torturing their 13 children will be in court today and were learning new douetail about what happened in that home. Investigators say david and Louise Turpin kept their kids in squaller and had them chained to the beds as well for years. And at the airport 28 degrees in the in new jersey, 20s all around from lumberton to washington township, even hope we will township. These were all very cold numbers to start with but everyone will see enough sunshine to warm in more places, Chestnut Hill into the middle 30s today, just below freezing in doils town, and below freezing in coats town and allentown by a degree. Well see some melting into the day today. The wind willing blowing all day in new jersey and youll feel those winds into wilmington, thats why well top out in the milled 30s in wilmington and smerna 36 degrees. We had some clouds first thing this morning but no wet weather. That was all offshore and it is expected to push farther offshore. Look to the west, no storms coming our way for the next several days. Were going to be dry, not just today. So i ill let anna grace take this one. She had an awesome project last year with her troop maybe she could tell you about. Last year we split our money in between our girls evenly. We use today for different camps and girl scout activities. And last year we donated a lama to a family this they can make money. Wow, thats fantastic.
