South Korean Ambassador Lee Jang-keun today handed over to Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen a frame containing copies of historical documents that demonstrate the country's official recognition of the newly independent Bangladesh on May 12, 1972.
The handover ceremony was held at the State Guest House Padma today.
After the event, Foreign Minister Momen recalled the friendly relations between the two countries and sought to further boost it.
"South Korea became a developed country and we have a lot to learn from them. One of them is how to quickly implement projects in time," he told reporters after the meeting with the South Korean Ambassador.
