Today, a trough is generating showers and storms over parts of Queensland and NSW, some severe. A warning is currently in place for Queensland's Central Highlands and Coalfields and Central West due to a slow moving cluster of heavy thunderstorms over the warning area this morning. Flooding along Queensland's north coast after days of heavy rain. (9News) More warnings are in place today for NSW and Queensland.(9News) These storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding. Locations which may be affected include Bogantungan, Jericho, Mantuan Downs, Alpha and Carnarvon National Park. In Sydney, it has now rained on 28 of the 55 days we've had so far in 2021.
