As a member of Priceline’s Sister Club loyalty program, Wesfarmers chief executive Rob Scott is familiar with the business model underpinning his latest takeover target, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries.
He says his membership of the Priceline loyalty program is in keeping with the philosophy at Wesfarmers that all senior executives must have first-hand understanding of the businesses they own and operate.
