A WEYMOUTH man has denied that his dog was out of control and bit a nine-year-old girl - who had to receive hospital treatment for her injuries, a court heard.
William Lee Barker, aged 28, of Greenhill, pleaded not guilty to owning a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
Weymouth Magistrates Court heard how on June 21 last year in the Piddlehinton area, Barker's Doberman allegedly ran towards a family and bit a nine-year-old girl.
The court heard how the dog was not wearing a muzzle during the alleged act.
