New Year’s Day Parade: 2-5pm along Fairlie’s Main St to the Village Green. Floats, stalls, and entertainment from one-man-band The Southern Man or Denis Henderson.
SATURDAY
Kimbell Day: All day at the Silverstream Hotel on Fairlie-Tekapo Rd, Kimbell. Festival with games, food, drinks, and entertainment from Christchurch-based musician Eddie Simon and Dunedin band Ollie and the Crooks.
Timaru Artisan Farmers’ Market: 9am-12.30pm near the Speights Ale House/I-Site on George St. Great range of fresh produce and artisan crafts.
