CUT THE CUTE Spots, like stripes, are thankfully in the ageless-style category. While my young daughters can look cute in them, I, hopefully, can channel sophistication. With that in mind, ditch any rounded collars, as well as too many frills or flounces or anything with girly associations. Think Forties tea dress with an edge and you’re there.
