What we learned from the governor's coronavirus news conference this week Lydia Gerike, Indianapolis Star Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and health officials updated the public on the state's response to the coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday. To date, the state has reported more than 471,000 total coronavirus cases and 7,244 confirmed deaths. Holiday season approaches Here's what we learned during Tuesday's press conference: Holcomb extended an executive order for another 90 days that allows health care workers not currently licensed in the state to practice.
