Bowler is known for making some of the best off-roaders on the planet, based on Land Rover chassis, but they also built this Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) a few years back. Officially named the Bowler CSP RIV, it was presented at the 2017 Defense and Security Equipment International and was built in collaboration with the UK Ministry of Defense. The vehicle is based on the Cross Sector Platform (CSP), a versatile construction with modular subsystems and components that can suit the needs of different customers, from defense to emergency services, and packs a 300 brake horsepower and 516 pound-feet (700 Nm) of torque engine. Sourced from Land Rover, the engine it is hooked up to ZF transmission, with low- and high-range functions, and four-wheel drive. It also has a long-travel independent suspension for improved off-roading, a 4,409-pound (2,000-kg) payload and seating for four.
