Bengaluru's tow major governing bodies - the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) are working on a Parking Plan 2.0.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police department may be consulted before the blueprint is sealed ane made functional in perhaps the next six months.
If the plan is activated, there will be no free parking on streets and even residents may have to pay a nominal fee to park in front of their own house.
