Why Did You Kill Me? This Netflix Original is a whodunnit and true crime documentary that could only have happened in the 21st century, even though the technology and social media spaces it features are already so out of date as to be almost unknown today. Crystal Theobald was murdered in 2006. She was a passenger in a car which a hooded figure opened fire on from only a few metres away. With no known motive, no witnesses other than the people in the car and no idea at all who could have wished the young woman dead, the police investigation quickly hit a wall. Their assumption could only be that it was a case of mistaken identity by the killer, perhaps in a feud between gangs. But with time and resources stretched thin, the case remained unsolved.
