There, operators seated in a station used one set of controls to switch between remotely controlling a wheel loader, excavator and dozer located at three Cat proving grounds in Clayton, North Carolina; Peoria, Illinois; and Tinaja Hills, Arizona. Enter the new Cat Command Station, which looks more like a virtual reality training station. But the machines the operators are controlling in the station are quite real.
