When I look back at 2020, the long stretch of work-from-home days and social distancing blur into one week that kept repeating itself.
But there were moments that punctuated the sameness.
I moved apartments during COVID, and packing and unpacking was oddly enjoyable because it was so different to every other day.
Maybe this is what led to people take up new hobbies, like baking. It's like we subconsciously knew it was something we kneaded to do, even though not all attempts worked out… like the comedian who made a cake of Jacinda Ardern's face.
