Why Wilson County will move its election headquarters and change Lebanon's early voting site

The Wilson County Election Commission will move into this building on East Gay Street in Lebanon that will also become a new early voting location.
 The Wilson County Election Commission will move to a new building, which will also change downtown Lebanon’s early voting location.
The new location will be the former Fred’s store, a 20,720-square-foot building at 230 E. Gay near the courthouse the county purchased for $875,000, Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto said.
"It's a long-term move that will be positive for the county as fast as the county is growing," Wilson County Administrator of Elections Phillip Warren said.
