Every January, gyms get packed with people determined to stick to their new exercise routine. According to a Finder survey on resolutions, 43.53 percent of men plan to make health their focus in 2021. But setting fitness resolutions is so 2020. Why not try setting fitness intentions instead?
While the idea of kicking off the year with fresh goals makes sense in theory, it can backfire in practice. In fact, according to Finder, an estimated 23.1 million Americans don’t believe meeting their resolutions is possible. In a sense, making a New Year’s resolution often means setting yourself up for failure.
