THE wife of a former UUP assembly member has condemned a crowd filmed making sectarian chants at her family run bar.
Olga Walls Patterson hit out after punters who were captured shouting 'f*** the Pope' as the Neil Diamond hit 'Sweet Caroline' was being sung in a beer garden.
A favourite anthem of Northern Ireland soccer fans, the classic party tune has also been adopted by England supporters.
It is believed the footage was captured on July 12 as a large crowd gathered at the Derg Arms in Castlederg in Co Tyrone.
