Unfortunately, the likelihood is that many of those individuals are among the more than 60% of Americans who do not have wills. A will would provide their families with guidance on how to handle their estates at a time when it is most needed. Perhaps this tragic period will encourage many of that 60% to correct the situation by establishing an estate plan. One of the first steps in doing so is to create a will.
