Damak Tomscha scored the first run for the Wind Surge and Andrew Bechtold added the second run. Tom Hackimer pitched two innings to get the win and Yennier Cano had a scoreless ninth inning for the save. Four pitchers delivered a shutout. The attendance for the game in Springfield, Missouri was 2,092 with limited capacity. The Wind Surge will continue the six-game road trip in Springfield on Wednesday. The Wind Surge will have its first home game at Wichita’s Riverfront Stadium on May 11th against Amarillo.
