Blake Carter, 24, of Windsor — an individual known to police — faces a large number of new charges, including: possession of a firearm with knowledge that doing so is unauthorized (two counts), possession of a prohibited device (three counts), careless storage of ammunition (two counts), having an altered serial number on a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited (21 counts), and failure to comply with a probation order. Also charged is a 27-year-old woman from Windsor whose name has not been disclosed by police. She faces similar charges as Carter — except for the 21 counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
