THE recent spell of wintry weather continued in Worcester yesterday, with snow returning to the city. A Met Office yellow warning for ice and snow remained in place from the previous day, and the late morning saw a return to Monday’s snowy weather. A new warning was put in place later that day, with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow set to move across parts of England, Wales and Scotland between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. Today (December 30) will be dry and bright for a while but cloud is going to increase from the west. There is also a risk of patchy rain, sleet and hill snow in the late afternoon and evening.
