Created: January 14, 2021 04:56 PM ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It's been nine weeks since restaurants in the orange zone shut down their dining areas and switched to take-out and delivery orders. Thursday's announcement that they could re-open for indoor dining couldn't have come at a better time. Restaurants like The Hideaway have been waiting for the day customers would be allowed once again to sit down and eat. Owner Max Gordon told News10NBC despite the last-minute decision by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, he's just glad to be able to open his doors and get back on his feet after weeks of losing of sales revenue.
