Worcestershire health guru Peter Pinfield died "from Covid"

FORMER county councillor Peter Pinfield reportedly died "from Covid-19" – little more than three months after warning against lifting lockdown restrictions for Christmas.
The death of Mr Pinfield, who was aged 73, on Friday (January 29) came as a shock to many with the cause reported via Mid Worcestershire Labour's Twitter page.
The post read: "It is with enormous sadness that we must announce the death from Covid of one of our longest standing and most active members, Peter Pinfield.
"Peter has been a community leader in Droitwich and Worcestershire for many years and will be much missed."
Mr Pinfield had chaired Healthwatch, Worcestershire’s independent watchdog for all health and social care services, and in November questioned the wisdom of allowing extra households to mix over the festive period.
