Work begins on Yate's Park and Ride : vimarsana.com

CONSTRUCTION has begun on Yates park and ride this week, following the approval of planning permission back in November last year with the support of the Secretary of State.
Funded by £3.5million secured from the West of England Combined Authority, the scheme will provide a sustainable alternative for people going both into Yate and towards Bristol, encouraging people to get out of their cars and reduce congestion, as well as to encourage linked up usage with rail services at the nearby Yate Station.
