Work is complete on the South Swindon Green Trail between Croft Road and Broome Manor Lane WORK is complete on the South Swindon Green Trail between Croft Road and Broome Manor Lane. Overseen by South Swindon Parish Council, the work involved levelling out, clearing out drainage ditches and laying 400 tonnes of stone to raise the profile of the path. The council has pledged to monitor the trail path and make any necessary repairs to keep it usable in the future. The finished trail has gone down well with members of the public who have used it since, although there are still some areas of concern.
